We had dozens of ants in our bathroom. Even crawling around on the toilet seat. When we told the girl at the front desk at check out she did not apologize but only said "ok. I will let someone know". Makes me wonder if that is a common problem they have...

Cooking staff very friendly! Very good breakfast! Clean & nice breakfast lounge. Very close to our destination that weekend. Great rate online! Green hotel! :)

Every thing was nice except the locatin

Location

Stayed at this hotel many times in past 5 years. Location is next to where I teach and conduct training events. It has always been consistent, the breakfast and happy hour have the best food--all organic and fresh. Sad when I am not able to book a date with them, expecially weekend of March 9 and 10th.

The location was convenient to family we were visiting with easy access to the highway. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. The lush vegetation was a nice contrast to other stark hotels where we have stayed. The staff was friendly.

Provided the basics. Bring your own conditioner and lotion.

Breakfast and breakfast staff. Bed was comfortable.

Needed better tv for Thanksgiving weekend games

The gardens were wonderful, this is an oasis in the midst of the city and the fact that it was green was a definite plus!

The price fluctates here and I wish I would of booked more of the inexpensive nights.

A little dated with furniture and TVs.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a cross country trip with my son. We were looking for an overnight stop at a reasonable price. Location was not really an issue for us but the facilities and price were. We could have done the economy motel route but were very glad we didn'T. The Habitat Suites is in Northern Austin about 20 minutes from downtown. It is located next to a large but largely disused Mall but close to restaurants etc. The hotel itself is rather like an apartment complex with very pleasant grounds and a central reception area with a pool, hot tub and meeting rooms. The suite we had was spacious, very clean and had a small kitchen area. It was just what we needed after a long driving day. No complaints

It was very hot the day we arrived and the ac in the room struggled to keep the suite cool.

I thought the staff was very friendly and accommodating. A real plus for someone who had to stay a whole week. I loved the having a hot breakfast in the mornings (biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, turkey sausage, pancakes, cereal, etc.) I also liked the fact that they had happy hour every afternoon with light snacks and beer/wine. Having a full kitchen with cooking/eating utensils was a necessity and for the price of the room, it was well worth it. Free WI-FI was also a bonus. I will definitely stay there again!

The mattresses could have been a little more comfortable. There were tons of comfy pillows though. The TV's definitely need to be upgraded to larger flat screens. They were approximately 19" (or slightly larger) that appeared to be from the 80's. However, I didn't come to Austin to sit in a hotel all day and watch TV.

The facilities are nice but starting to show wear. The faucets in my room either ran or leaked badly while I was there. I turned it in when I left. I was sprayed twice as I left my room by the sprinklers as they were spraying more water on the walk and drive than on the plants. Part of one was spraying directly on my door.

All the above
